Peanut Butter Jelly Time

I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There is nothing like this little taste of childhood. But this flavor combination is more than nostalgic. I'm convinced, it's genius.

Crack-filled PB&J at Potbelly's by Nemesis 79.
Once I asked my grandma for a PB&J off of the kid's menu at a Restaurant. She refused to order it for me. What ashame. I still can't bring myself to order the Potbelly's PB&J. Even though I know for sure it's their best sandwich and everybody secretly wants to order it.

Meandering Fancy is my attempt to explore some of the little whims that spark my imagination and grab at my attention :) The subject will be food, clothes, crafts, art, design, people, nature, bikes, etc. all the things that make up my life but dance around any inkling of true meaning or motivation. I hope you all enjoy my musings.

Spartacus Work Out

Now I know this is for men. And I am not a man. But this work out is amazing. The first time I tried it, I could only finish two circuits. The next day I couldn't walk up the stairs. When I don't feel like going outside for a run, I watch TV and work out like a Spartan :)

God's House

I've been spending time in psalm 65 this week. it reminds me of Sunday's message, that Christ invites us to sit near to Him. As i've been going through this passage, i've been struck w/ how amazing it is to live near to God.
Blessed the guest at home in God's place!

Psalm 65 (message version)
1-2 Silence is praise to you, Zion-dwelling God,
And also obedience.
You hear the prayer in it all.

2-8 We all arrive at your doorstep sooner
or later, loaded with guilt,
Our sins too much for us—
but you get rid of them once and for all.
Blessed are the chosen! Blessed the guest
at home in your place!
We expect our fill of good things
in your house, your heavenly manse.
All your salvation wonders

1 Praise awaits [a] you, O God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.

2 O you who hear prayer,
to you all men will come.

3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
you forgave [b] our transgressions.

4 Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
of your holy temple.

5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,
O God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,

6 who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,

7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.

8 Those living far away fear your wonders;
where morning dawns and evening fades
you call forth songs of joy.

9 You care for the land and water it;
you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,
for so you have ordained it. [c]

10 You drench its furrows
and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers
and bless its crops.

11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance.

12 The grasslands of the desert overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness.

13 The meadows are covered with flocks
and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing.
